As I mentioned yesterday, I am excited to be doing Chalene Johnson’s 30 Day Challenge. I’m on Day 2 and just loving every step of it because it’s helping me become super specific about what is important to me BEFORE I start listing the goals I want to accomplish. As simple of a step this may sound, personally it’s actually a fundamental change of thinking with regards to making my goals. In general, I’m pretty good at making lists and checking things off!! And to be honest, I looovvee checking something off my list as DONE. I feel a sense of accomplishment. However, by figuring out what my current PRIORITIES are, it then becomes clear what I need to be focusing my time and energy on and what I don’t. As opposed to just haphazardly completing goals that may or may not be tied to moving me forward and what’s fundamentally important for me. In other words, it keeps me on track with achieving these PRIORITY goals whenever new opportunities come my way. I have a strong gut feeling that this shift in thinking is going to be a HUGE game changer for me this year. I’m so excited to get started on those rightly aligned goals!!!
But before I can do anything, I have to get my priorities down on paper.
Did you know that 80% of people never complete their goals because they don’t have confidence in themselves? Studies have also shown that people that write their goals and priorities down have a HIGHER chance of not only completing them but getting them done earlier than expected.
In that spirit, I would like to share a FREE resource I found that will be a fantastic tool for you to use this year.
Get a FREE copy of this awesome ★ Goals & Priorities Diary ★ by Michele Connolly by going here http://on.fb.me/fSE3dp and “liking” the page. That’s it. You will then get an instant download. It’s a great way to get your goals for 2011 on paper and have it be a living document on your computer, phone, Dropbox account, your’s dog back even…ok maybe that’s a stret…ch, but seriously now there’s no excuse not to get organized in the new year. Enjoy!
After you download it, please let me know in the comments section below what you think.
Here’s to our success!!
