“Ask Not What Your Country Can Do For You” speech

One of my favorite quotes of all time was uttered 50 years ago today on a cold morning in Washington D.C. by newly sworn in President John F.  Kennedy. The quote, “ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country,” is just part of what has become one of the most iconic speeches in American History.

On this 50 year anniversary, give yourself a treat, and watch the original speech in it’s entirety below:

It will leave you inspired to take action on your dreams! What’s one small step you can take today that will bring you closer? Taking these bite size steps daily will get you to your goal quicker than you think. The secret is a daily action towards your bigger goal!! Think about it, Kennedy helped us get a man to the moon and proved that the word “impossible” only lives in our minds!

Fave EyeCandy of the day: (Eeek, parts of the speech are embedded throughout- Loves It!)

xoxo,

Lizza
